MARKETING & PLANNING - We will provide promotional materials for groups to use to help sell Disney Youth Group Program tickets, rooms, and recreation.
Promotional Material When designing materials to promote any of the Disney Youth Group Programs product lines, there are certain guidelines that must be followed relating to the use of Disney logos, photos, and nomenclature. These guidelines are designed to protect the Disney name brand and to provide an equal field for all travel planners. The guidelines listed are not all encompassing. In the event of a conflict as between the terms and conditions of your agreement governing your event at the Walt Disney World® Resort and these guidelines, the terms and conditions of your agreement shall prevail.
By accepting any photographs and descriptions from Disney Youth Group Programs for your use you agree to abide by the following guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE: FAILURE TO HAVE ALL COLLATERAL, VIDEOS, AND WEBSITES APPROVED BY DISNEY YOUTH GROUP PROGRAMS MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF NET RATES.
Steps for Requesting Approval Please send design samples to the Disney Youth Group Programs Marketing team at least ten (10) business days before your design is scheduled to be finalized. Promotional/collateral material may not be used unless you obtain prior written approval. Please allow five (5) business days for feedback. If changes must be made to your piece, the materials must be resubmitted for final written approval prior to publication or distribution. In the event that you do not receive a response from Disney to your approval request, your requested materials shall be deemed not approved. Important! Approvals are for a single use only unless otherwise specified in our written approval. In no event shall the approved materials be used following the date of the promoted event at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Items that must be approved include, but are not limited to, brochures, catalogs, publication advertisements, publication listings, flyers, websites, and trade show booth graphics.
PRINT COLLATERAL Disney Photography, Images, and Logos Upon request, Disney Youth Group Programs will allow selected photographs, images, and logos (the "Disney Materials") to be accessed and downloaded from www.disneyyouthtravelplanner.com.
Only Disney Materials provided and approved by Disney Youth Group Programs may be used in promotional/collateral materials or on trade show booths. (ANY photographs taken by you, your participants, or other non-Disney affiliated individuals, may not be used.)
All Disney materials must contain the Disney copyright notice (© Disney - not italicized in this case) directly below the item.
Beyond the materials provided by Disney, no other Disney trademarks, images, logos or artwork depicting Disney scenes or characters may be used in your promotional/collateral materials.
Characters, Artwork, and Disney Elements Disney characters and character art MAY NOT BE USED IN ANY FORM! This includes outlines of Mickey Mouse ears, hands, etc. In addition, artwork or illustrations produced by a non-Disney-licensed artist or not provided to you by Disney Youth Group Programs that depict or suggest Disney scenes and/or logos are not permitted. Photographs taken by you or your participants may not be used.
Placement of Disney Images and Elements The materials you produce must clearly be a Sales tool for your company, and may not appear as a Disney promotion or advertisement. Your company name, logo, or other images must be larger than any Disney element or reference.
Wording or layout may not imply or state an exclusive relationship or an endorsement by Disney Youth Group Programs, The Walt Disney Company, or any of its related or affiliated companies.
It is preferred that Disney Materials appear on a page by itself.
If you are promoting more than one travel destination on a page, the Disney Materials must be equal to, but not greater than, the size of any non-Disney Material(s). Approvals for this type of layout are more complicated and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Art or copy may not run across any Disney Materials (except for copyright information). This includes overlapping images of Disney or Non-Disney art.
The Disney materials may not be altered in any way. Logos may only appear in a black and white format or in the specified PMS colors provided to you by Disney Youth Group Programs.
Any use of the logos for Festival Disney, The Disney Honors, Disney Academic AchievEars Celebration, Disney Theme Park Adventures, Disney Youth Education Series, Disney Magic Music Days, Disney Grad Nite, and Walt Disney World® Resort must use the words:
We Specialize In Group Tours To The Walt Disney World® Resort. Disney images may not overlap or be overlapped by a non-Disney image. You may overlap Disney images as long as the integrity of the image remains intact (this will be at the sole discretion of Disney Youth Group Programs).
Websites All Guidelines listed here apply. The name "Disney", either alone or in conjunction with or as a part of any other word, mark or name, or any marks of The Walt Disney Company or any of its related or affiliated or subsidiary companies many not be used as, or a part of, your domain name or a domain name that redirects Internet users to your website.
No Disney Materials can be used on the Internet or on a website by a non-Disney entity without the prior written permission of Disney Youth Group Programs. All of the above mentioned guidelines regarding images/logos apply.
A Hotlink connecting your website to Disney's website is subject to approval by Disney. A Hotlink from a Disney website back to your website is not permitted.
Trade Show Graphics Disney Materials or other Disney items purchased in a store or received from a Disney representative (other than Disney Materials provided by Disney Youth Group Programs specifically for this use) may not be placed in your booth.
Specialty Merchandise You may request to produce merchandise items. Selected merchandise may be created only through an approved Disney licensed vendor. If interested in having such pieces created, please contact Disney Youth Group Programs regarding your request.

VIDEO MATERIALS Steps for Requesting Approval If interested in producing a Sales video, you may request existing Disney B-roll footage to be provided to you from Disney Youth Group Programs. Please contact Disney Youth Group Programs regarding your request.
STEP 1: Prior to creating your video, you must apply to Disney for a clip license. This agreement will permit use of Disney provided footage. To request a clip license, please contact Disney Youth Group Programs.
STEP 2: When submitting your clip license request, you must include a proposed program script specifically outlining usage of the requested Disney footage. The script must include all specifics (e.g., audio script and visual description including name, date, time, location, etc.) of the information to be covered in the video.
STEP 3: Submit a rough cut of the video to Disney Youth Group Programs before proceeding with the final production.
STEP 4: Prior to duplicating, distributing, or exhibiting the finished video, a copy must be submitted to Disney Youth Group Programs for final review and approval. Please allow at least five (5) business days for each phase's review and approval. Approval may be withheld at the sole discretion of Disney Youth Group Programs. In the event that you do not receive a response from Disney to your request for approval, your requested materials shall be deemed not approved.
Disney Video Footage Disney video footage may be included as a whole into your company presentation with the prior written approval by Disney Youth Group Programs.
No reproduction, modification, or separation of the Disney footage shall be made, in whole or in part.
Except for use of the Disney footage in the video, you shall not use the name "Disney" (either alone, in conjunction with or as a part of any other work or name), any picture of the Walt Disney World® Resort, or any fanciful character design, logo, trademark, trade name, copyrighted work or symbol or designs of The Walt Disney Company or any of its related or affiliated companies to express or imply any endorsement by Disney of your company product, services, or of the video.
Disney Characters may not be used in any form in your video. This includes character voices, photographs and/or illustrations of Mickey Mouse and/or other characters, including but not limited to representations of Mickey Mouse ears, hands, etc. In addition, artwork or illustrations produced by a non-Disney-licensed artist that depict or suggest Disney scenes and/or logos are not permitted in association with any part of the finished video.
Your finished video must not position your company in any type of exclusive association with Disney and/or the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Your video may only be used for the sole purpose of a private exhibition to potential individual attendees of the event(s), subject to the prior written approval of Disney.

TRADEMARK USAGE AND NOMENCLATURE GUIDELINES In all promotional/collateral materials, Disney trademarks need to be distinguishable (offset) from the surrounding copy. Trademarks can be offset by: - italic font bold face type - a different color ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
Whichever way you decide to offset the trademarks, please be CONSISTENT! Nomenclature listed below must appear each time EXACTLY as printed. You may not change the nomenclature for any reason.
Include a trademark symbol (e.g., ® or TM), as indicated in the subsequent pages showing nomenclature examples, once per mark per page. In subsequent usage on the same page, the registered trademark symbol is not necessary, but can appear if preferred.*
*A registration symbol must be used each time with the Epcot® name and is not used with Disney Hollywood StudiosTM.

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park The "coolest" water Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort is a winter ski resort that experienced a rapid meltdown, creating some of the longest, tallest, curviest water rides anywhere! A chairlift brings you to the top of Mt. Gushmore where a free-fall down Summit Plummet, the tallest, fastest speed slide awaits. This "ski jump tower" takes students on a 60 mph plunge to a splash landing. There are more thrills with breathtaking slides, flumes, white water raft rides and tube runs, plus floating icebergs.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park A serenely beautiful tropical paradise was created after a nasty typhoon swept through this little village. Rebuilt into a dazzling watery playground, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park features high-speed thrills and one of the world's largest inland body surfing lagoons. Challenge the 30-mph high-speed thrills of the Humunga Kowabunga or relax on winding storm slides that swish and swirl through cooling caves and tunnels. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Five brightly colored "villages" surround a sparkling 45-acre lake near Epcot®.
